Precision's general heat treating department is equipped with controlled atmosphere, batch type furnaces that are capable of a variety of processes. These include neutral hardening, carburizing, carbonitriding and normalizing. Computerized, state of the art furnace controls ensure that the furnace atmosphere is properly blended and temperature is properly set to meet the specific requirements of each job. The metallurgical laboratory is equipped with the testing equipment required to meet the most demanding needs for process evaluation and compliance to customer specifications.
